"Heatwave" is taking its toll...

Never thought I'd say that, after me going to Florida fairly regularly for holiday, having lived for most of my life in warmer climate (well... about 5-10 degrees warmer than here on average, and summer temps over 30 degrees no rarity!).

The stupid tickly cough doesn't help of course... when I woke up this morning I felt like a lead weight on my chest - which from experience is a signal of asthma problems. I didn't have an attack or anything, but I contacted work and switched my day today for Friday ... I don't like being out of the house when such a situation occurs (and - to be fair - it hasn't happened that often, maybe once per year now). Fortunately, my boss is ok with that (maybe not too happy, but ok).

I think it's the muggy weather right now ... doesn't work for me. And it doesn't help that I am very sensitive when it comes to cigarette smoke, and we have several neighbours who smoke outside on their patios ... :( And right now I can smell it up here in the bedroom. :(

Currently staying in bed but hope that I'll be fine later to do the last finishing touches to the Chinese Whisper so Pauline is getting it asap.
