although this year it’s only the NFL kind. I’ll miss being with “my lads” from the Stirling Clansmen, they had their Returners Training Camp last weekend, usually the first opportunity for me to take photos. On nice days we may take the girls in the “tumbler” up to Stirling next Spring if it’s not too windy. Still feeling "gunky" ... all that mucus in my nose and throat does NOT make me feel like wanting to do anything. Couple of snags from the weekend: Broke the screen of my small camera somehow (has a crack and therefore LCD screen is broken) and the Clansmen @ Mavericks game was called off due to the heavy rain this week... :( Won't see my Clan until 13th now. :o We had a good turnout at the Wolves Rookie Day though (50 guys!) and lots of athletes, too. From this Sunday we're going to have 3 Sundays of "Football School" - i.e. teaching the fundamentals of American Football. Let's hope that lots of the Rookies will come back and join the Wolfpack! :) Junior training was good, too - they have been waiting desperately for training, I assume - we had 12 kids down (10 returning and 2 rookies) with a couple of guys not able to make it. Things are looking up there for the Wolfcubs... ;) Went to see the inlaws after training & shopping and it was go...

Yes, I know - it's VERY early right now ... and I'll probably sleep until 12ish today... but I decided to watch the late night Football game Philadelphia Eagles v Dallas Cowboys. Why? You may ask? I am not sure ... just felt like it, and the fact that my Fantasy Football QB, McNabb, has quite a rollercoaster game again (interceptions, then coming back with scrambles and good passes, back to interception). It's nearly a month gone since my last blog entry ... time's just been rushing past and I didn't feel like blogging. :o However, I will be updating the blog with back dated entries over the next couple of days, just to keep it chronologically. :) As for right now - I've finally got my date for the day surgery (cyst again) - it's on the 15th October, so I will give the October crop a miss. It's the first one I will miss since April, and the past couple of months I was feeling not too happy about having to be at the crop early and leaving after everyone had gone because Lisa had taken some months off due to family commitments. My MOJO had disappeared as well, so I am hoping it returns once I get some organisation in my scrap area - which I am planning to do next week as I am off work anyway. We'll see... I decided to watch the Monday Night Football game (Dolphins v Colts) while DH was sleeping ... was up until close to 5am!! What a nail biter of a game!!! S...

Funny ruling for the fumble recovery and TD from the Steelers D. So no points added, am down 12 points. Means I could do with 2 TDs from Chris Cooley ... or 130 yards Receiving, which he's unlikely to get (6 points per TD, 1 point per 10 Receiving yards). There goes the dream of beating Colin this week... :( But think as the only female in our "league" I am not doing too bad.... ... OMG! DARTS on STV .... DEFINITELY time for beddy boos now!!!

Have been whittling down my subscriptions ... had 155 on it, now only 105. Several are from people who don't blog regularly (Sharon!! Lisa!!! ;) ) and a couple of Flickr photo groups as well, so don't do the sharp intake of breath please. :) Will probably go through them again soon, as I am spending far too much time reading blogs instead of updating my own or - shock horror - actually DO something crafty around here... :) Just saw my Fantasy Football team on NFL.com go up into winning position - currently 103 for my opponent (Colin, one of our Wolves Players) with no further players left to 99 points on my side... and I still have Chris Cooley going, one of the higher ranking TEs this year, although he wasn't too good in the last couple of games. In order to win I only need a TD really... and no negative yardage. :) Might have to think about a new kicker though, as Dan Carpenter doesn't get much work apart from XPs, which just give me 1point each. :o Including some ...
