Booked my annual trip to London!

Finally recovered enough from the shock of the prizes and managed to book my train tickets to London for my annual "Sharon visit" and Ally Pally. :) It's blimming £63 - that's nearly £40 more than last year! Think I have to book once I know the dates for autumn Ally Pally 2009 so I get the lowest fare of £14 each way!!! Anyway, it's not a full week, as I have my (so far) last Zoladex injection on the Friday, but will leave at noon the same day and return on the Wednesday (so I don't lose out on working my 2 days and getting "holiday hours" for Florida!). Should be enough time with Sharon & her BF. But then ... there's never enough time to spend with them really, specially since they moved to "the big smoke". Looking forward to the trip though, may be even able to catch up with some old work colleagues from 1998's WORLDxCHANGE!! :) Have to speak to Trev about that. Just have to stick to very tight budget for Ally Pally ... beca...

Ally Pally and a baby card

Image
Today was Ally Pally day! :) Had my list with things to buy and tried my best to keep the spending low .. but I did shop for the crop as well (not too much though) and for my Secret Santa. Shame we couldn't get any of the DCWV Pads at all... :( Will have to check online at some point. Got lots of other stuff though. Shame I have to leave it with Sharon until 27th October when we're coming back to London for the Dolphins v Giants game. Ah well... that's the problem with weight allowances! :( After we came back to Putney I've been stitching a baby card for my friend Heather while Sharon made a stamped card for her. We're a little bit late, but better than never. :) The chart is from The Cross Stitcher and it's easy to stitch - only takes 3 different colours as well.

QVC CRAFT DAY and Ally Pally (Autumn)

Yep, it's on my days off for a change, and I quite like a couple of things ... LOVE the DCWV Far East Album ... may have a look for that at Ally Pally in September. So that's what's going to be on the "alternative" channel today. Not too tempted to buy anything from QVC as I have to save my pennies for Ally Pally, but think I may have to extend my shopping list. So far my list comprises: Banana Frog Stamps "Postage" Banana Frog Stamps "Calendar" Blonde Moments (extra thick?) embossing powder/s Blonde Moments Pearl Pigment/s DCWV "Old World" paper stack (12x12) Have to stick to the list this time though ... don't want to spend TONS of money again like last year! Not with a nice cruise coming up the week after (and I still have to figure out what trip packages we want to do!). PS: Yes I can do blogging while scanning the Junior forms... ;) It's called "MULTITASKING" ... ;)
