Photo Scavenger Hunt Summer 2012

Ok… I’ve been travelling wide and far (LOL) to get some photos, have done some “cheating” as well… might change those photos IF I find another opportunity before September 21st.

A BORDER
031 033
Two different borders around Edinburgh – one up at the Mount with view towards the castle, the other one at the Flower Clock with an Olympic message.

A TRAIN

A PERSON DRESSED AS AN ANGEL OR AN ANGEL STATUE

It’s quite interesting how FEW angel statues there are in the cemeteries I’ve been to in Edinburgh the last couple of weeks… this little beauty I finally found today after hubby suggested to try Dalry Cemetery – it was amidst thorn and trees … but I got it!! :D And hubby constantly texted me “DON’T BLINK!”  (Dr Who Reference).

A FOUNTAIN
020 021
“Fountain of Faces” (don’t even know if it’s called that) on the Royal Mile with one smiling and one sad mask.
041
My main object for this, however, was Ross Fountain in Princes’ Street Gardens … unfortunately no water in it anymore… :(

A MAZE, LABYRINTH OR TRAIL
At first I thought I have to use this little “cheat” (?) seen at “Clown Around” soft play.
IMAG0261
but then I found this one …
015
That was just by good luck and the help of one of hubby’s ex colleagues. She commented on my FB plea about this Labyrinth at George Square Gardens behind the University of Edinburgh – stunning place, and I’ll walk it at some point, I’m sure.

A BRIDE (cheat)
Ok, after being always too late to take photos of brides or none around, I think I may have to resort to the cheat for this one ….
IMAG0274
It’s a stamp I saw for sale at Stamper’s Grove.

MISSING:
  • Someone Dancing
  • A swing hanging from a tree (or a hammock)
  • Me holding something that symbolizes our nation

Great finds Kat!...it's not cheating-it's 'thinking out of the box'! I just noticed Iwasn't a Follower and have rectified that!

Enjoyed looking at your Hunt photographs. Such perfect finds. I love the maze, I didn't know it was there. Must check it out next time in Scotland. I am very partial to mazes and labyrinths. Good luck for the rest of those shots. Irene
