Halloween impressions

A bit weird having to go to work today after I had Halloween off last year (well... more than just that day ;) ). Didn't carve the pumpkins yesterday but got all the goo out ...at least something.

Got a nice Halloween Card from Sharon - thanks, hun! I really have to look into getting some of those stampingbellas as well!! :D

Got home at 5:30pm, popped upstairs to print off a template for an easy pumpkin and a recipe for "Brataepfel" (baked apples). Had already kids trying to come around that time, but I ignored the doorbell at that point. After I had done the printing I put on my witch's hat and went in the kitchen to carve pumpkins.

NOT THAT EASY WHEN YOU HAVE GYSING KIDS COMING AROUND ALL THE TIME!!! :D

So about 4 doorbells and a DH arriving later I was able to finish the FIRST pumpkin ... not too happy with it. It's the one for my DH, and it didn't turn out right. :( Very tricky template ... supposed to say "GO DOLPHINS" ... :o

Anyway ... here are some impressions of today. Didn't take a photo of our dinner though (pumpkin soup and "Brataepfel") ... maybe I'll remember next time! :o

Mmmmh... headaches, a little pulling pain, and now some dark brown spotting (but really just a little, goes away after dabbing - SORRY, TMI!) ... wonder if my body decided to take its time and does implantation bleed later than normal???? I don't think that both embies are making it ... but I have a little hope that maybe my little 1-grader (LOL) hangs on!!! Could do with the long wait though .... :( Tomorrow we're off to Newcastle for the day ... bit walking about, going to the MetroCentre for Big Luke's (first time), Hotel Chocolat (first time in Newcastle) and Hobbycrafts - and Toys R Us for Doug... :D Mood goes up and down ... considering what we woman (and partners/hubbies) are going through with IVF we should get a definite YES or NO!!! Not such a stupid limbo stuff!!! :( Little one, hang on ... maybe your great granddad (RIP) can help you to stick???

Phew!!! Took me longer than I thought!!! :) Maybe I should leave the crafty bits out ... I am a slow scrapper after all (found that out at the Cyber Crop!!). But have to say I LOVE that LO. Used acetate with stazon white opaque (over photo), snowflake eyelets, snowflake button and snowflake vellum sticker. The prompt today suggested we cut a paper snowflake ... well, I had three attempts and am absolutely rubbish at it!! So I decided I try my luck with a quilled snowflake ... first time ever for me to do a snowflake and you can see the wonky result! LOL.

 Here is my Final Round up for the Photo Scavenger Hunt 2013: 1. Open air market (Market Stall outside Kew Station, London) 2.
