My Life's Ingredients

Well… one day late, but I try my best!   Catch up of the week … let’s see, what’s happened? The usual of shopping (Sunday), keeping the Hobbits occupied (Monday, Wednesday – Friday). One day of “freedom” (Tuesday) while being ill with a nasty cough (which is still not better) which I used to go to the hairdressers, get another present for hubby and get a bit of housework done. Miss Martian was violently sick on Wednesday over dinner – however, I suspected that it’s “just” mucus in her tummy from her cold (I really wish the girls wouldn’t react like this when they have a cold!) which was then confirmed Thursday afternoon at the doctors. Another week where we couldn’t go to PEEPs due to illness – I really HOPE we’re able to go next week!!  She’s fine now, apart from stuffy nose and Supergirl has a cough, but that’s just normal in Scotland this time of year I think?!? Thursday also involved carving 3 pumpkins … the girls picked their own 2 in the shops (BIG pumpkins), and hubb...

Ok ok, I know… I said something this year about blogging more… and yet I haven’t posted anything since the Photo Scavenger Hunt! How bad of me! Even worse as I realised that I don’t do a quick update for (scrap) important things on Facebook either, so my journaling will be bad for some pages, unless I can get my brain in gear somehow. Will try my best regarding blogging from now on. At least once a week, like a catch up. How does that sound? And in December it’s Shimelle’s “Journal your Christmas” again, so that will probably even get a daily blog entry. Let’s see how that goes as “promise” for the blogging… send me a nudge if I don’t do at least weekly updates, will you, please?   Quick update: Hubby decided (just like that, with abundance of trust in his crafty wife) that the Hobbits will be Jawas this year Halloween.  So I bought some brown fleece beginning of October (!!!) when my mum was here.  Did I sew the girls costumes? Did I JS!! Left it to the last minute...

 Here is my Final Round up for the Photo Scavenger Hunt 2013: 1. Open air market (Market Stall outside Kew Station, London) 2. Theater for performing arts (not a movie theater) ( Edinburgh Festival Theatre ) 3. City Hall, Capitol or other similar civic building (Dumfries Council Buildings) 4. It’s taken at Knockbrex House, Dumfries & Galloway, with view of the Bay) 6. Waking up at 5:30am ish due to a “nature call” is not nice, but I’m used to that really (either that or the girls waking me up). Realising that I have a thumping headache on the right temple area, not nice either, but something I tried to battle with mint oil on forehead, neck and back of the head (to cool). Still not being asleep at 5:56am and headache getting worse makes me think I should be taking my “whacky tabs” (not so whacky, really, just some stuff from the USA which helps me better than UK over the counter stuff) as we’re driving home from Dumfries & Galloway today and I should be at least a bit in “working order".  Still not able to sleep due to storm outside and the fact that whacky tabs have caffeine in them. Getting up to check the Internet just to find that the storm must have knocked out the WiFi in the house or at least interfere with it… joy!
