Rowing Result Originally uploaded by Wolves05 ... as usual before a crop ... but this time even more as it's the 12 hour crop. :o AND I had to do my Chinese Whisper layout (which I only finished 15 mins ago!). But ... stuff is packed (and this time I'm NOT taking everything but the kitchen sink!!) and now I just have to print some photos ... :o Think I'm going to do that tomorrow at 7am ... I have to get up at 6:30am for meds anyway (really should have just convinced myself that I can take the meds at work during the day as well... or go back to getting up at 7am for work!! ;) ), so may do it then. :) Today's photo is evidence of my rowing skills ... and this time it was including two 1mins breaks to drink some water. Usually I manage without, but usually I start off with the rowing instead with the Crosstrainer which I did today (just to see if that helps the dizzyness). But still - even with the 2 little breaks I managed to stay under 10 mins for 2000m. Not bad,...

Didn't get enought sleep, today is my day off and I usually catch up on sleep on those ... and should be still asleep for another 15 mins or so. But no, we've got a slot for an uplift for our blinking dishwasher (yes, we FINALLY are getting somewhere with it ... i.e. uplift and refund of money and then we've got to search for a new one) - between 7 and 11!!! Just hate it when they give me that slot! Usually they don't arrive until 10 or 10:30am for that. But bet you that they would stand at the door at 9am if I decide to sleep longer! Currently having my cuppa, then decide on breakfast. With all that heartburn/acid reflux last week I quite fancy a bowl of semolina. Which is quite funny - lots of people don't like either semolina or Farina but I LOVE my "Griessbrei" (Semolina Pudding) - did already as a child. Now I just have to find out if we still have a jar of Morello Cherries in the cupboard ... they go nicely with semolina pud! :) Oh ... and there you ...

This is my CJ entry for Sonja from Dani's Forum. Theme was "What you still have from childhood". Journalling all in German (sorry) for a change. ;) At least I got already some points for April on UKS. As for the goodies ... I got a letter from the US today with my new Cuttlebug dies (through E-bay). LUVVELY!! The Embossing folder "Allegro" And then one of the Disney Combo Dies (Cut & Emboss) "Kick off" Now I am just waiting for the delivery from Ellison. :) Else ... UKS is having another Cyber Crop - this time "The Oscars". I usually miss out the crop in the first 1/2 of the year as it usually is during our holiday in Germany, but this time it's just the weekend of the week we come back, so looking forward to it. :) We've got Steve & Jill's evening reception on the Saturday, and our first game of the season at the Glasgow Tigers that weekend, so won't be able to attend that much, but hey ... at least I can spend so...

Just so I post some crafts on here again .... :) Here are the first 5 LOs I've done for my friends' wedding. I don't think they are reading my blog (and if so - just prove me wrong ;) ) so I can post them here. Material used: HOTP Wedding Papers & Cardstock 8x8 pads, flower & heart embellishments from "Stampers Grove"

Wasn't able to get a lift to the crop (Doug had to go to Sheffield and none of the other girls who sometimes give me a lift were available) so had to whittle down my own stash to take (was planning on doing something for the Advent Calendar Swap on the SBS Forum anyway), but still was a bit of a problem to lug all the stuff to Tollcross. Never thought the table cloths could be soooo heavy!!! But made it there ok, and we have now a locker (teensy weensy one, but does hold some things ... the table cloths if nothing else... LOL) so that won't happen again. Was a nice small group today, we had lots of call offs because of colds, work etc, wonder how many we'll have next month (which is going to be on 3rd November due to availability of Tollcross)?? Can't show a picture of what I've done as some of the girls from the forum are reading my blog... And we're not allowed to post our gifts as yet. Planning on getting the box with the Advent Calendar sent on Monday ... ...

Been playing around with Photostudio today to get the award done ... can't post the photos until Saturday though, just in case someone is coming across the blog. ;) But yes, I think it can be classified as Digi Scrapping, even though it's minimalist style (now ... that's my normal style when scrapping Wolves pics anyway, isn't it??). Done 10 awards, and now I am totally shattered. Get the stuff packed but will take photos beforehand. Come back to this post on Saturday evening ...
