My Life's Ingredients

kinda thought as much already. Car didn't start. So now I am currently charging the car battery (in the hope that works). What's the life expectancy of a car battery anyway? Because of the cable of the charger going out of the house I cannot leave for the gym until I decide the car is a) charged or b) I give up. And then I have to do a lot of phone calls anyway to make sure we have either a new battery fitted to the car or a replacement for tomorrow's training or someone who can swing by our house to pick us up. NICE! So...the pantry clearing it is ... I am currently "going in" (sounds like a combat? Well... that it IS!). Why does the pantry always look like a bomb exploded? I'm pretty sure I had a photo on my blog in the past (2008? 2007?) of the newly organised pantry but I can't find the entry (or the photo) right now. Problem is that everyone in this household just chucks stuff back into the little room under the stairs without sticking to a system. Wi...

Face feels puffy. Throat was aching a little when I woke up, but that's gone now, thanks to hot liquid (Chai Latte - courtesy of DH!). Body feels a bit battered though. Think it's still the head cold that's stuck and won't come out. Glands still swollen. Was thinking of going to the gym today but don't want to aggravate and end up with dizzy spells again. So instead I will take it slowly by taking the tree down (ok.. not really TAKING IT EASY but it won't cause my pulse to go up too much IYKWIM). Else? Need to start tidying the master bedroom, and clean the ensuite. So assume I better get out of bed now... ;) Working tomorrow (as asked by boss due to being short staffed) and Tuesday, and the rest of the week will be all in tidying as well... but I hope to manage some crafting as well! Tonight is TV evening for DH - Dolphins are in the play-offs after a 1-15 result in 2007 they are now the AFC East Champs (11-5 so far)!! So from 6pm that's all that's on...

I am currently struggling to get creative stuff done ... on Saturday at the Crop I managed to cover my CJ, cut out the title, stick it down and then did another layout for my friends' wedding album. Today I was hoping to get a bit more creative - but decided to do lots of housework instead. :o WEIRD!!! I hope that I'll be able to do my CJ entry and get more LOs done. Well, at least I was able to clean the ensuite, put boxes up in the loft, hoover the stairs and wipe the floor in the entrance hall and the kitchen plus did 2 washes. Just a tad exhausted... :D .... but I got my new TOY!!! :D Finally got my Cuttlebug, used it for the CJ title (and the previously "virgin" cutting plates are now SCRATCHED!!! *Gasp*) - but haven't done anything else with it yet. Quite like the freebie, it's a postage stamp embossing folder with 4 different "stamp" dies. CUTE! And I asked Rebekah to set aside one of the cute Asian stamps ... that's going to be my purcha...

I've been doing some tidying and taking my break now. I managed to put up my tea advent calendar (but as you can see from this photo there are still more than 1/2 of the tea samples missing. Should be ok for a while though. :) YESTERDAY'S tea was "Feuerzauber" (Magic of the fire) - Fruit tea with Rooibos and cinnamon. Quite nice - and that says a lot, as I don't like fruit teas that much. :) TODAY'S tea is "Amarettini" - A Rooibos tea with a hint of the Amarettini cookies and Marzipan. Quite like it actually. I also arranged my Scrap Advent Calendar from the SBS girls and took quickly a photo. The packs are stuck to one of those sticky fabric thingies you get for putting up cards. It seems that it's not tacky enough anymore, so several of the small packets are falling off already. Shame really. Maybe I can get more of the stuff later this week? Today's pack is this one - looks very nice, and the contents are very nice and will definitely be ...

...but got some housework done. :) Been mopping the kitchen, clearing the kitchen table and changed it back to round (was extended to oval for too long), hoovering the stairs and mopped the entrance area. Still have a couple more things I want to do tonight (mostly Wolvesy stuff on the PC) and then will take my "me time" tomorrow. Currently catching up with "The Tudors" ... thank goodness for SKY+ !!! :) Else ... getting a bit fed up with the template for my blog ... will check if I can find a free template somewhere to use instead. Don't think I am ready to do my own banner just yet.

Day 1 of three nearly over with. Didn't get all of it done, but had to do other stuff as well... never works out as planned, does it?? So far I managed: White Wash I (washed & hung up) 1/2 White Wash II (in the washing machine just now) 1/2 Junior Wolves applications (signed/dated/verified, currently scanning and then have to send the e-mail and letter) Put on a nice White Granary bread in bread maker Will see how much I have to carry over to tomorrow's TO DO list (hopefully will be able to present a couple more "TADAAAAs" though before tonight! ;) )

Well, we've been doing some housework today - stuff we usually don't have time for (i.e. going through the boxes in the spare bedroom... also called "box room" for obvious reasons! LOL). Well, DH did it ... I did a shop inventory for the American Football stuff we got from the BAFL (British American Football League) for selling at our home games. Then did some ironing as well. Just cannot take time out and keep the feet up which everyone seems to suggest for me because of the bleeding. It kept my mind off things though (well.. as much as that can be in my situation). Tonight I had to google/read up on the FF Forum again ... the bigger clot still worries me, but it was just the one ... and I AM having clots normally during AF which is because of the endometriosis. From what I heard you'd have lots of clots when you have a m/c, so I'll grab that straw and hope for the best on Monday. Somehow cannot get the thought out of my head that we may have lost one of...
