Huh! Missed the starting date!!

With all the stuff going on (toddler tantrums and illnesses) I totally missed the starting date of Rinda’s “2013 Summer Photography Scavenger Hunt!

The list to complete is in my blogger side bar, and I’ll score out the photos I got as I go along.

If you want to take part, just click here – it’s never too late to join as you have until 21 September. I joined late last year, too, and managed to get everything (with a few tweaks Winking smile )

So … let’s see how I’m going to do this year. It really is lots of fun, and I got to see totally new areas of Edinburgh last year in my hunt for an outside stair and an Angel statue!!!

Woohoo! Glad you'll be back this year and that the hunt created fun memories for you. As you said, there's plenty of time to play along, especially because I started it earlier this year (1 June, instead of 21 June).

Phew!!! Took me longer than I thought!!! :) Maybe I should leave the crafty bits out ... I am a slow scrapper after all (found that out at the Cyber Crop!!). But have to say I LOVE that LO. Used acetate with stazon white opaque (over photo), snowflake eyelets, snowflake button and snowflake vellum sticker. The prompt today suggested we cut a paper snowflake ... well, I had three attempts and am absolutely rubbish at it!! So I decided I try my luck with a quilled snowflake ... first time ever for me to do a snowflake and you can see the wonky result! LOL.

 Here is my Final Round up for the Photo Scavenger Hunt 2013: 1. Open air market (Market Stall outside Kew Station, London) 2. Theater for performing arts (not a movie theater) ( Edinburgh Festival Theatre ) 3. City Hall, Capitol or other similar civic building (Dumfries Council Buildings) 4. Airplane (Our Virgin Flight plane to London) 5. A sunset (opted for another picture than posted before, as this sunset is more stunning! It’s taken at Knockbrex House, Dumfries & Galloway, with view of the Bay) 6. Someone or something taking a nap (there’s too much cuteness about, and still so many photos of the Hobbits falling asleep ) 7. Official!!!

Still struggling with sleep deprivation from Superbowl on Sunday, but hey … maybe I’ll get finally to sleep BEFORE midnight. And since 11am this morning the “little secret” from the Adamsons is now not a secret anymore. WE ARE PREGNANT WITH TWINS!!!!  The IVF run in December was positive (typical, the one we thought won’t do anything and we’ll have to go down to London to get immune issues checked out), and we had our official 12 week scan today. Both Chip and Chap are doing fine, are moving about, have all limbs and noses and chins and heartbeats. And I’m feeling as if a big rock’s been removed from my shoulders … have been reading too many horror stories about twin pregnancies resulting in just one baby born or even losing both. Think with 5 years IVF in the bag we know far too much about the medical background and are more likely to worry about what COULD go wrong instead of “enjoying the pregnancy”.
