Yup... it's my DH's birthday, and I am sitting in bed, a box of tissues around (hope that's enough!) and feeling totally unhappy.     :(

My cold with the nasty cough turned into sinusitis yesterday over the course of the day. :o  Haven't had sinusitis in a while, so it hit me quite hard, and I am totally annoyed that this happens on DH's birthday.

He got his presents at least ... but that's about it. No traditional Birthday Muffin, can't go for meal out or to the cinema tonight as I am feeling totally crap. :(  Got that typical "cotton wool" head I tend to get with sinusitis.

That stupid cold was on its way out last week, and I don't have a clue why/how it got back!! :(

So ... feeling sorry for myself and for DH for not having a nice birthday.  :(

Phew!!! Took me longer than I thought!!! :) Maybe I should leave the crafty bits out ... I am a slow scrapper after all (found that out at the Cyber Crop!!). But have to say I LOVE that LO. Used acetate with stazon white opaque (over photo), snowflake eyelets, snowflake button and snowflake vellum sticker. The prompt today suggested we cut a paper snowflake ... well, I had three attempts and am absolutely rubbish at it!! So I decided I try my luck with a quilled snowflake ... first time ever for me to do a snowflake and you can see the wonky result! LOL.

 Here is my Final Round up for the Photo Scavenger Hunt 2013: 1. Open air market (Market Stall outside Kew Station, London) 2. Theater for performing arts (not a movie theater) ( Edinburgh Festival Theatre ) 3. City Hall, Capitol or other similar civic building (Dumfries Council Buildings) 4. Official!!!

Still struggling with sleep deprivation from Superbowl on Sunday, but hey … maybe I’ll get finally to sleep BEFORE midnight. And since 11am this morning the “little secret” from the Adamsons is now not a secret anymore. WE ARE PREGNANT WITH TWINS!!!!  The IVF run in December was positive (typical, the one we thought won’t do anything and we’ll have to go down to London to get immune issues checked out), and we had our official 12 week scan today. Both Chip and Chap are doing fine, are moving about, have all limbs and noses and chins and heartbeats. And I’m feeling as if a big rock’s been removed from my shoulders … have been reading too many horror stories about twin pregnancies resulting in just one baby born or even losing both. Think with 5 years IVF in the bag we know far too much about the medical background and are more likely to worry about what COULD go wrong instead of “enjoying the pregnancy”.
