A little PAY IT FORWARD! :)

I saw this one on Lynz's blog and thought I was too late to sign up ... but the girlie just told me there are only 2 sign ups so far, so there! ;) I think it sounds like a bit of fun and I quite like the idea! :)


1. I will make a little something for the first three people who comment on this post. It will be a surprise and it will arrive on your doorstep when you least expect it!

2. I will have 365 days to do it in. What's the catch? To get a handmade prezzie from me, you have to play too. This means YOU pledge to send a little handmade something to three readers of your blog. It doesn't have to be quilty or scrapbooky - just handmade.

3. You must have a blog. (obviously!)

4. BEFORE you comment here, you must post about your Pay It Forward on your blog to keep the fun going, and display the Pay It Forward button.

I know I have lots of people reading my blog ... and as I have a couple of followers as well, I hope I won't have a problem with people taking part. :)

I will include any of my overseas friends as it's a nice idea!! :)

Not up for the PIF challenge today, but I did want to visit your blog (I'm in Shimelle's class). Just wanted to say that I love your color scheme (red, black & grey - lovely) and happy to see another sports family in class.

Hey Kat, you don't know me, but I'm up for the PIF. I was going to start one of my own this month, but then I happened across Lynz's blog a few days ago. I've had a nervous couple of days hoping that you didn't fill up as I didn't want to launch mine until today!! Hope this is okay? I'm looking forward to doing this :)

Phew!!! Took me longer than I thought!!! :) Maybe I should leave the crafty bits out ... I am a slow scrapper after all (found that out at the Cyber Crop!!). But have to say I LOVE that LO. Used acetate with stazon white opaque (over photo), snowflake eyelets, snowflake button and snowflake vellum sticker. The prompt today suggested we cut a paper snowflake ... well, I had three attempts and am absolutely rubbish at it!! So I decided I try my luck with a quilled snowflake ... first time ever for me to do a snowflake and you can see the wonky result! LOL.

 Here is my Final Round up for the Photo Scavenger Hunt 2013: 1. Open air market (Market Stall outside Kew Station, London) 2. Theater for performing arts (not a movie theater) ( Edinburgh Festival Theatre ) 3. City Hall, Capitol or other similar civic building (Dumfries Council Buildings) 4. Airplane (Our Virgin Flight plane to London) 5. A sunset (opted for another picture than posted before, as this sunset is more stunning! It’s taken at Knockbrex House, Dumfries & Galloway, with view of the Bay) 6. Official!!!

Still struggling with sleep deprivation from Superbowl on Sunday, but hey … maybe I’ll get finally to sleep BEFORE midnight. And since 11am this morning the “little secret” from the Adamsons is now not a secret anymore. WE ARE PREGNANT WITH TWINS!!!!  The IVF run in December was positive (typical, the one we thought won’t do anything and we’ll have to go down to London to get immune issues checked out), and we had our official 12 week scan today. Both Chip and Chap are doing fine, are moving about, have all limbs and noses and chins and heartbeats. And I’m feeling as if a big rock’s been removed from my shoulders … have been reading too many horror stories about twin pregnancies resulting in just one baby born or even losing both. Think with 5 years IVF in the bag we know far too much about the medical background and are more likely to worry about what COULD go wrong instead of “enjoying the pregnancy”.
